- Military bases
Studies have linked some PFAS to serious health problems, including certain cancers.

- Jefferson Parish
- St. Bernard Parish
- St. Charles Parish
- St. James Parish
- St. John the Baptist Parish
- Plaquemines Parish
- Communities along the Mississippi River
Many people were exposed without ever being warned, often through drinking water.
